Raja Jewels is a wholesaler of non-traditional diamonds and jewelry in the heart of the diamond district in New York City. For over 40 years, Raja Jewels has served retailers, designers, manufacturers and wholesalers across the US, Canada and parts of Europe.
Raja Jewels specializes in loose diamonds for custom work, manufacturing and repairs and also carries a selection of finished jewelry designed with diamond beads, briolettes, pearls and other precious gemstones. Modifications on jewelry length and color can be made to a selection of styles and are designed in-house.
As a responsible member of the diamond industry, Raja Jewels and their suppliers adhere to a strict zero-tolerance policy toward conflict diamonds. The mission at Raja Jewels is to offer the widest selection of unique diamonds, procured from ethical sources, at the best prices possible.
As a young man, Mukesh managed his uncle’s jewelry store in Delhi, India, where he gained inspiration from working with a global clientele. It was during these formative years that he developed partnerships in the industry that propelled him in 1974 to launch Raja Jewels in New York City. Today, Mukesh continues to work with his supplier network in India and in the US, promising the most expansive selection of non-traditional and color-enhanced diamonds at unbeatable prices.
Rahul Gupta, Mukesh’s son, holds a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University. Guided by his passion and extensive family background in jewelry, Rahul furthered his education in this industry, receiving his Graduate Gemologist Degree from the Gemologist Institute of America in 2002. Since then, his experience has involved working with acclaimed brands such as Movado, Kate Spade, Avon and Stella & Dot. Rahul's entrepreneurial drive and innovative vision for Raja Jewels uphold the values responsible for their success: honesty, transparency, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
